Apparently Our State Representative Thinks I’m Impressive!

by Lee on February 2, 2010 · 11 comments

I received in the mail today a letter from our local Republican State Representative. In the letter he congratulated me on conducting interviews on the red carpet at The People’s Choice Awards.

State Representative Nelson goes on to tell me that due to my hard work on the blog and my show I’ve earned the respect of my peers and entire community.

What exactly could this mean for me? Will people allow me to go ahead of them in line at the grocery store? Drive past when we are competing for the same front parking spot? Will I get to cut one of those cool ribbons with those huge scissors at the next big town hall event?

No matter what it means, I am honored by this letter which included a laminated copy of my article from the local paper and his offer of assistance anytime I am in need.

It can’t hurt to have a State Rep on your side can it? Do you think he’d be disappointed if he found out I was a Democrat?

This doesn’t surprise me at all. You are quite the up and comer and your town should be honored to have you. Keep up the good work.
