On Friday I went to Shriner’s hospital for my son Jason. He has a clubfoot and this is where we get his treatment. I had promised him that after his appointment, which are often times long and uncomfortable, we could go to Chuck E Cheese to play. I had printed off directions before I had left the house but for some reason they were not clear to me. I couldn’t find some of the streets they were mentioning. I knew I was lost.
Since I was 2 hours from home this could have been a big, scary problem. Luckily I had my Verizon Palm Pre Plus with me. I pulled over to a safe place and pulled up the Google Maps application. I entered my nearest address and the address I needed to reach and within moments had step by step directions on my phone. I was at Chuck E Cheese in 10 minutes.
I don’t own a navigation system but this worked just as well.
