PartyLite Candles Review and Giveaway!

Here in Chicago we take our summers pretty seriously. The weather is only nice enough to be outdoors for 12 weeks a year, if we’re lucky, and an outdoor party is a very special event. I built an outdoor bar on my deck two years ago and saved tons of money by opting to use candles around my deck and landscape rather than pay to have lighting put in. The set came with more stuff than I could have asked for. PartyLite is really branching out with their new line. The Margarita Set came with four matching empty margarita glasses in very fun colors and shapes, a large margarita pitcher and three glasses called Scent of Illumination which contain translucent solid fragrance which can be used alone or with a tealight candle in the center. The scents were heavenly; they included Apple Orchard, Strawberry Fields and Ocean Berry Breeze. Plus, as if that were not enough, a drink mix called Pineapple Passion Fruit Margarita Mix by Two Sisters Gourmet.

I invited a couple of the girls from the neighborhood over as well as Kathy, my PartyLite consultant just in case anyone wanted to book a party. I ordered some Mexican take out and began to set all my new stuff out on the bar. I am one of those people who love to entertain. I believe that entire mood of a party is set by your surroundings and these PartyLite Margarita Trio Candles really set the mood for fun! I could not stop looking at them out on the deck; they smelled amazing and looked perfect. I didn’t think it could get any better, that is until I started to make the Pineapple Passion Fruit Margaritas by Two Sisters Gourmet. They smelled so good even my dog Buddy was drooling. My friends better get here fast, or there will be no margarita left.

As my guest started to arrive I could hear them outside OOOing and AHHHing over the Margarita Trio. They loved them and immediately started yelling into the house at me to find out where I got them. I came out on the deck to greet my friends and answer the flurry of questions to which I simply differed to my friend and PartyLite consultant, Kathy. Then the zinger, I took out from behind the bar the rest of the PartyLite Margarita Set and declared with great joy that I could not believe I got this too! It was at that point I received a sea of compliments as to how nice the glasses were and what a great pitcher and how cool it was that everything matched. I stopped them with a simple statement “if you think that is something, just wait till you taste the margaritas that also came with the set!” as I began to pour everyone a glass. Let the drinking begin.

Needless to say my party was a big hit and thanks to PartyLite and my new Margarita Set, my status as Best Hostess in Frankfort remained intact. I plan to use this set over and over, and I will not be alone. All three of my friends booked parties for June and July and could not wait to show their sets off to their family and friends. My friend and PartyLite consultant Kathy was very thankful and is super psyched about her June, July line up of parties. It really is smart of PartyLite to create an indoor/outdoor candle theme and incorporate usable items into the set. In my opinion, candles help set a mood for any party and help your guests to relax and have a good time. I personally can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
