So you laid out all the presents and realized one child has more than the other. Or maybe you decided that you don’t quite have enough to give in competition with other family members (it happens). Whatever the reason you may need a last minute gift, K’NEX Building Sets are great.
K’NEX are building blocks with a twist. I’m serious, they have an actual twist and create such things as roller coasters and really intricate motorized robots. These just aren’t your typical building sets. The best part is they start at toddler age and have sets that go all the way to advanced age 9+. But by 9+ I can say my husband will play with them and he is in his 30′s and my nephew would play with them and he is 17 years old today. Some of these K’NEX sets are just beyond awesome. They can be built up way over your head with moving parts and other awesome features!
Jason received a Pirate Ship and a Nascar 88 Amp set. He’ll be receiving one for Christmas and the other for his Birthday. I’ll be sure to come back and let you know what he thinks. I am pretty sure he’ll love them because we always see the huge roller coaster display at Toy’s R Us and other toy stores, so he’ll be prepared!

I love my husband and he is by far more in tune with our myself, our children and our home than most men I know. Being a great person just comes naturally to him and I benefit from that every day. Well, except for gift giving Holidays. He really is a bad gift giver.
One year he gave me jeans. Worst gift ever! He game them to me too small, which I guess it better than being too large but either way it was a bad idea. It’s too bad we didn’t know about Lill Studio Design A Bag kits at the time! Because seriously, BEST GIFT EVER!
Here is how it works. You purchase a style of bag from the 1154 Lill Studio website. Then, the gift recipient will receive a box that includes a bag with a design created by their stylists, fabric swatches and the items needed to send the bag back to the factory.
The fun comes in when she begins designing the bag herself! Each bag has about 3 different areas where she can choose the fabric color, texture and design. It’s up to her to go through all the fabric swatches and create her own bag.
That equals a custom bag! A bag that she created herself and can’t complain about at all! And guys, you know this is the best Christmas gift you could get, a Christmas where you do right by your wife!

We are already big Play-Doh fans at my house. We are also big fans of conveyor belts. My four-year-old became enamored with them during the airport scene of Toy Story 2. Ask Matthew his favorite parts of our recent DisneyWorld trip, and he will say the Buzz Lightyear ride in Tomorrowland, and then the luggage conveyor belt at the airport.
So a Play-Doh set with a conveyor belt? No brainer. The Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory
was just as much fun as we anticipated. Matthew loved stamping the toys and food shapes on the conveyor belt, and really, just putting anything on the conveyor belt. This came just in time, as we were running out of excuses to keep him away from the treadmill!!
Watch the Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory video at the site to see it in action. The factory also includes four cans of Play-Doh, a playmat, and two interchangeable gears that do the stamping. The Mega Fun Factory takes 2 C sized batteries that are not included. The “factory” has storage areas for the mini Play-Doh cans. This is a wonderful feature that keeps everything together!
This would make a great gift for any kid, and you’d be giving their parents a gift of a little peace- if they can resist the fun! I absolutely recommend this set!

The retail price is $34.99, but is available for $14.99 at the time of this posting
