Adam

Tonight was a lot like that one night at the music awards. You remember, Taylor Swift won the award, Kanye West interrupted her and said Beyonce should have won it, Beyonce was embarrassed and Taylor was really sad. Well tonight Skype was totally Kanye West, I was Taylor Swift and Adam Baldwin was a gracious Beyonce

It was no one’s fault, well maybe technology in general, but the show did not work. The wonderful people at Stickam.com sat with me on the phone for 3 separate days testing ways to produce a flawless web cam interview with an important celebrity. I can not thank these gentlemen enough. They really went above and beyond to make this the best show possible. But for some reason my computer couldn’t handle the technology. It just kept shutting down. At first Adam and I were laughing about it but after the 3rd time it was getting bumpy and we were losing our audience. We decided we would just reschedule.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to watch, everyone who tweeted and advertised for the show, all my mods and especially the Stickam guys and Adam Baldwin. I’m not going to give away prizes at this time, I’ll figure out a way to do it at a later date if we reschedule or by a contest on the blog.

I apologize once again for all the tech glitches. Please know we put a lot into this and we really did not anticipate having such a hard time. Fingers crossed it turns out better at a later date.

It is hard to put into words exactly how I’m feeling right now. You know that song, “It’s like I’ve waited my whole life, for this one night…” well that’s kinda how I feel but with a touch of nausea. Usually I don’t get nervous, I even talked about my lack of nervousness on my show last week. I said that I’m too naive to get nerves. I walk into every situation like I’m going to be your best friend and I’m not nervous around my friends. However Adam Baldwin makes me nervous. I guess somehow I know I’ll never be cool enough to be Adam Baldwin’s best friend.

No matter how I’m feeling though, tonight at 9PM EST I will be interviewing one of my all time favorite actors live on my web show. I’m really hoping you’ll join us. A lot of you left some really great fan questions for Adam and a handful have been chosen.

Also, you’ll have 4 chances to win autographed merchandise!

1 Mass Effect 2 game for Xbox

1 Mass Effect 2 game for PC

1 Chuck comic book

1. Season 2 DVD set

That is some pretty great stuff in my opinion. I’ll take this chance to once again complain that I am jealous of whoever wins these prizes. I will apparently have to travel the globe to find Adam at a convention and pay him $35 for his autograph. Not fair.

I want to take a moment to thank my sponsors for the show and get their names out. They are as follows:

Safetytat.com

Customhotel.com

Dressbarn.com

Eagames.com

BlogDesignsBySusan.com

All five of these companies make it possible for me to do what I do each and every week. Every day actually. So please check them out! And don’t forget to check us out tonight at 9PM EST by clicking HERE. Take note, the show is an hour earlier than usual!!!

So as you have all heard, unless you were living under a rock, I’ll be interviewing the accomplished celebrity Adam Baldwin on my web show this Thursday night at 9PM EST. Other than being insanely lucky for being given this chance of a lifetime (I’ve told you all how much I love Adam Baldwin right?) I have run into good luck in other areas as well.

1. EA Games has been gracious enough to send a copy of Mass Effect 2 for XBox and one for PC for Baldwin to autograph and give to lucky winners.

2. Adam himself has graciously autographed a copy of a Chuck comic book and also a copy of the Season 2 DVDs to give out to lucky winners.

3. Stickam.com has deemed us important enough to be given the featured spot on their website. This means our interview will be aired on the front page of Stickam.com and they will also be promoting the show with banners leading up to the broadcast.

4. All the fans have been wonderful with sending in their questions. However I could use more. Please get creative and submit a question so that I have a myriad of topics to go cover with him.

I hope everyone tunes in on Thursday night, 9PM EST at http://mysentimentexactlee.com/web-show/ I am so jealous of everyone eligible for these prizes. I’m not eligible so I guess I’ll have to wait until someone else has an interview or I can get myself out to convention and meet Adam in person! ;)

I’ve included the worst movie trailer ever made to refresh your memory on where exactly Adam Baldwin got his start. My Bodyguard, made in 1980, the year I was born. I remember this movie like it was yesterday.

*Contest open everyone 18+ however shipping is the winners responsibility. I’m a stay at home mom alright people. ;)

WANTED: Hollywood Husband!

by Lee on February 4, 2010

So as you have all seen I recently had my heart broken by my Hollywood Husband Adam Baldwin. He had played such an important role in my life for so many years and then I accidentally on purpose learned too much about him. Then I really got talking to him and heard first hand things that I’ll never be able to erase from my mind. Adam Baldwin, my Jayne Cobb, my John Casey…was a right wing extremist. He may disagree with that title but it works for me.

So now when I closed my eyes and thought about Jayne Cobb, he would ultimately begin talking to me about the evils of Howard Zinn or how the wonder of President Bush. Talk about a mood killer. So I explained all this to Adam, and he finds it amusing. The nerve. I asked him if he could recommend a new Hollywood Husband and he replied, “I’m not a Yenta”. Thanks for the help Adam. I then explained that when he goes on auditions he must be surrounded by other “Adam Baldwin” types. Or maybe his stunt double…So far he has been no help, apparently there are other more important things in his life than making me happy.

But this is exactly why I have now published a Want ad detailing exactly who I am and what I want from my new Hollywood Husband. Right wing extremists need not apply.

I’m a busy woman. When I’m home I never stop. I am the mother to three wonderful but high maintenance boys. Jason is 5, Spencer is 2 and Tim is 31. Whether it is doing laundry, running errands or making dinner I am always on the go. Real life is a blessing and one I would never give up. However sometimes I need an escape. I am seeking a Hollywood Husband to sweep me off my feet into the world of make believe. Requirements are as follows:

Must specialize in heroic character acting

Must have large biceps and triceps

Must look handsome with a goatee

Must harbor a soft side

Must be willing to fight for me above all else

Must NOT hold any political opinions (this one is especially important)

Must not be too famous as I have issues with sharing

Being married is acceptable but not to anyone in the spotlight

Real life criminal records frowned upon

Must enjoy long walks on the beach (just kidding I’ve just always wanted to say that)

As you can see I’ve incorporated some real life aspects into my requirements as I have been burned in the past. But technically speaking I’m really only interested in what you offer me in my own day dreams. I’ll be taking applications over the next few days. If anyone has recommendations please feel free to include them in the comment section along with a link to said actors work.

I woke, she fled, and day brought back my night.

Vaya Con Dios, Farewell, Wish You Luck, Goodbye MomTV!

January 27, 2010

In August of last year I was lucky enough to meet Stephanie Piche with MomTV.com. Together we created one of the most successful shows on the online social network. Every Thursday night at 10PM EST approximately 100 viewers, sometimes less, sometimes more, would tune in to watch me rant and rave. Some people commented that [...]
