Are you looking for a great interactive game for the Wii that your entire family can enjoy? Well look no further than New Carnival Games. Packed with over 30 interactive games, The New Carnival Games can be enjoyed by people from 5-105.

I received the New Carnival Games to try out for myself. We put the game to the test during our Saturday night family night. The first thing you do is create your character. There are many items to choose from such as your hair color and style to the clothes you wear. There are many more choices that are locked that you have to open by playing the game. You then proceed to the sign post where all the areas are listed. There are 5 game areas to choose from: Mystic Court, Mousy Lane, Surprise Blvd, and Pit Stop Parkway and Snapshot Drive. The sign also has an additional selection where you can go to check on your prizes you have won and change your character up. Each area has multi player games where you can play up to 4 players and also a single player only game in each area. There is also an additional game in each area that you have to unlock.

I liked how the games were all played differently. Some of the games you took turns, some you played at the same time in your own frame on the TV and others you all shared the same screen to play in and compete.

We played every multi player game on The New Carnival Games. All of the games were really fun for our entire family but still challenging. My 7 year old daughter won the majority of the games. I somehow came in last most of time. My favorite game was probably the haunted house where all 4 of us played at the same time shooting targets on ghosts and goblins. Then again, I also won this game so maybe I am a little biased. The best part about the entire game is that you win all sorts of silly prizes. My favorite prize was when Kyle won a chicken leg.

I would recommend New Carnival Games to anyone looking for a fun interactive game for their family this holiday season. Whether you are 5 or 85, you will have a blast bouncing balls in Fish Bowl Bounce, playing Speed Bingo, and rolling balls down the lane in Gold Rush Alley.

I don’t spend a lot of time on the video games systems. I’m not the least bit interested in slaying a dragon or collecting the most golden coins. But when Puzzler World for Nintendo DS arrived in my mailbox things changed. I’m having a blast keeping my mind fresh.

Puzzler World is actually brought to us by Atari which I thought was kind of cool in a throwback sort of way. The game includes a slew of different types of puzzles including favorites such as Crosswords, Sodoku, Spot the Difference and my favorite Silhouette. Puzzler World is rated E for Everyone but at this time my 5 year old is a bit too young. He can grasp a few of the easier puzzles and he likes to practice his handwriting (a special feature) but otherwise Mommy and Daddy enjoy keeping this game to themselves.

As I mentioned above I really enjoy Silhouette. In this game you have to tap only the shapes with a dot inside in order to create an entire picture. This is harder than it sounds because of the way the shapes are fit together. I have also enjoyed the Spot the Difference game. I seem to always miss one thing at the end that I can not find no matter how hard I try. Luckily the games include a Hint button. You earn coins throughout the game (uh oh, earning the most Golden coins) that you can then use to buy hints.

My husband is sitting next to me as I type this review playing a Crossword game. He is more drawn in by the logics games such as Crosswords and Sodoku. While he is studying for his upcoming exam he will take breaks and play Puzzler World to have fun but also keep his mind sharp.

Right now I would like to offer one lucky reader a Puzzler World for Nintendo DS game as a giveaway. To enter follow the instructions below.

EA Games has done it again. Need For Speed: Nitro is an action packed car racing game with quality effects. My son Jason, 5 years old, really enjoys being in the drivers seat. This game is a bit of a challenge for him though I don’t think he notices. You have the ability to race through 6 cities unlocking new fancier cars as you go. Jason hasn’t unlocked many things but like I said, he doesn’t know the difference and as long as he is in control of the “steering wheel” he is perfectly happy.

I liked the graphics on this game. The buildings and background were just beautiful especially in Dubai. I found them to be very realistic compared to some games. Well, that is until the cars drive by and change the colors of the buildings.

For a driving game on a DS format this one is great for us. It has enough intensity in the lower levels to keep Jason entertained which is all I can ask for. Check out the video below to see for yourself:

I’m also offering you a chance to win one game. To enter follow the directions below!
