Fans of the show Friends may remember The One With The East German Laundry Detergent. Basically Ross and Rachel head to the laundromat together and Rachel admits she has never done laundry on her own. Ross gives her a quick lesson and she becomes so proud of herself, for completing one simple task, that she kisses him and he falls even more deeply in love with her. Unfortunately at the very end we find out that she left a red sock in with her whites and now everything is pink and looks like jammies.
I’m not exactly a laundry virgin, however these types of things happen to me all the time. My husband can scoop up silk shirts, bras, beach towels and jeans and toss them all into our Frigidaire Affinity Washing Machine at once and out they will come looking and smelling clean without a single issue.
His version of doing laundry seriously makes my stomach nervous. I live in constant fear that my clothes will be ruined. But it just always works out for him. I however can toss in jeans and towels and somehow the blue of the denim will dye the towels, even though those jeans have been washed 240 times in the past. Or I will throw in a quick load of whatever I could find and when I pull them out of our Frigidaire Affinity Dryer I’ll have towel pills all over my black slacks. I honestly can’t win.
One thing that has helped is our Frigidaire Affinity Washing Machine because it does not have an agitator. This way clothes don’t get caught on it, under it or around it. I lost at least two bras that way. So this huge barrel is definitely a plus so you should probably check it out.
